FAUNA FOR THE FUTURE is committed to the protection of all of our native fauna species. Feral or stray cats cause extreme damage in our bush areas and should be restricted to the home which they live.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IT IS POSSIBLE THE CAT WANDERING INTO YOUR YARD IS SOMEONES PET WHO HAS JUST BEEN ACCIDENTALLY LET OUT. PLEASE SPEAK TO ALL OF YOUR NEIGHBOURS TO MAKE SURE IT IS NOT THEIR VALUED PET PRIOR TO TRAPPING.

Saying this we are believers that even though they are Feral or Stray does not mean they deserve to be treated cruelly. We ensure every cat captured will be treated with kindness and compassion, every cat will be delivered to the pound and the local cat rescue organisation notified. Every cat which can be returned to their rightful owner will be by the local authorities. Any which do not get claimed and have the right temperament every effort will be made to rehome these individuals. We are an organization who are not against cats rather we love them in the right place. They are not a native species and it is humans who let the problem get bigger by dumping unwanted pets.

THE COST OF TRAPPING IS $50 minimum Donation WHICH INCLUDES THE BAIT FOR TWO DAYS AND TWO VISITS TO SITE. EACH ADDITIONAL DAY IS AT A COST OF $10 PER DAY. Travel is up to 30km above this distance is charged at $0.70c/km
