GERALDTON PANTHER / COUGAR HUNT

On 11th APRIL 2016 I received a phone call about a noise which scared the hell out a lady in Geraldton. She described the noise as like a women screaming but much much louder. It also sounded like the animal was calling something. She is an inquisitive person so she went on a walk and found the largest prints she had ever seen. They were only 60 - 80 metres from her home.
I went in with an open mind and began to explore the vast area which this animal roamed. Being that the tracks were some 12 hours old I felt they were too degraded to get good casts so I installed a camera and came back the next day. I was able to cast several new prints and picture of these casts are below.

Now I had evidence worthy of further investigation and proceeded to start a search. Trying to find an animal who does not want to be found was never going to be easy But I was up for the task. My profession ensures I have the skills to find what has been lurking in the shadows of Australia for many years now. I have tracked everything from Spiders, Snakes, Humans and too many more species to mention. I am lucky I have some of the best technology available to assist with my search. The picture below is of our motion activated camera. It has Black Light Technology which will not emit any form of light at all meaning our beast will not see it easily.
